A word about Vintage

So I absolutely LOVE my vintage dresses. For my birthday, my little sis bought me a gorgeous Ophelia dress from Lindy Bop and I completely adored it.

I wore mine without a petticoat, as we were only going out for a pizza (I am obsessively overdressed for everything), and it was amazing. Lots of compliments, lots of looks, matched my bright purple heels exactly. Super happy me.

In any case, here is me in the dress:

So today, those of you who like vintage curls, here is my super lazy hair curling method (for those of you who also Haven’t Got The Time)..

Wash, blow dry damp, and roll hair up into a bun. I use a cheap ebay version of those Hot Buns things you see on JMP stands:

Now Blow dry your bun. You can leave it in without heat if you’ve got a few hours before you need to be ready, but if you’re in a rush just add heat. Don’t forget to keep moving the blow-dryer around so you don’t damage your hair!

Roll hair out of curler, and brush out for bouncy waves. You can smooth it down more if you like using product, and spry with hairspray so it keeps the shape – my hair is crazy so it’ll likely stay like that for a week.
